“Quiet stomachs to open minds” drives The House daily. Students receive a nourishing breakfast before school and a full meal after school before starting their homework. Every week we serve over 700 meals to hungry kids. Weekly around 2000 hungry and homeless adults in Woodbridge and Washington DC receive meals prepared with food donated to The House and channeled to volunteers partnered with us to feed the hungry outside our walls.
Limited only by the amount of food we receive, The House seeks new partners to contribute fresh perishable and non-perishable foods to increase our outreach. Homelessness and hunger are on the rise as our economy fluctuates. Please share with us by donating your resources to meet this huge and very real need in our society.
