THE MODERN LEADER. For the moment. For tomorrow. The House, Inc.’s EmpowerMEnt® Leadership Institute in partnership with the University of Virginia Darden School of Business is a dynamic, fully immersive leadership experience and certificate program for students in 8th-12th grades.
A series of multiyear Disciplines, EmpowerMEnt gives students insider access with knowledge and skills to advance change as global-ready leaders through case studies, simulations, keynote talks, and capstone projects. The multidisciplinary curriculum introduces students to new ways of thinking and problem solving with a bias for action along with optimal team performance to help teens develop their own leadership skills to serve both business and society.
Students gain college immersion which includes residencies and electives at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.

PROGRAM EXPERIENCE
The EmpowerMEnt® Leadership Institute certificate program is a hybrid structure blending in-person and online experiences at The House, Inc. (Woodbridge, VA) during out-of-school time blocks and with residencies and electives in Charlottesville, VA and Washington, DC.

• Applications are open to students in grade levels 8, 9, 10, 11, 12.
